Jusy got my F-14 running just in time for one our local shows. She wasnt the prettiest, older restoration, but she was the only one there!Spent the week before cranking her up and making sure she'd go!For 6 days she did perfect, started on the second crank every time!Loaded it up on a Friday and got to the show grounds about an hour later.Pulled the crank twice and she started but before I got all the way off the trailer she just dies. After some quick disassembly I found the float had a crack in it.Walked the grounds for two hours trying to find someone to fix it without any luck.Took a plastic spoon and "brazed" the crack back togehter. That was in 99 and the repair is still holding!
