About ten years ago. I bought a 49 Dodge grain truck and drove it home. I thought I would go ahead and clean the carb because the truck had sat in a barn about 20 years, when I took off the top I found an old Budweiser can flattened out made into a GASKET!! all the little holes were so neatly cut I saved that home made gasket for years just to show people.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
