I had this problem on my CAV pump on my diesel David Brown 990 it was a small cover with two screws holding it on and was the inspection port. I tried 4 times to fix with gaskets I made up finally had to buy the correct gasket for it. There was nothing under it just you could look at the pump inside The correct gasket was 6.00 I think but it did fix the leak. If yours is leaking at the top you would have to probably take it to a shop to have it fixed. regards rod
