Now if you had the AW or the AN, you would still have the round axle, even if it was a 1952. Only the regular "A" got the square axle. An "A", with a WFE, and a sn after 648,000 is an AW only if it has the round axle and the 42" rear rubber (not to mention that it will say AW on the sn plate)!
