Allen, Diesel and fuel oil are chemically darn near the same stuff. Generally, furnace juice is not a problem with Diesel pumps and injectors that are fairly recent - 20 to 30 years or so. The older ones are supposed to get gummed up - especially when it's cold outside. A friend of mine burns his furnace fuel in his '82 or '83 German Diesel car (mit der Einspritzer und Turbolader, ja?). The injectors have lived for over 100,000 miles that way. Only problem is he can't sleep at night because he's overcome with guilt about not paying that road tax! I imagine the same thing will happen to you if you drive that tractor on the road. Steve
