All the ideas I read about getting rid of hornets are very good, (especially the shotgun) but keep in mind one thing, wait until night time. Hornets are very warm blooded bugs and the cool night air makes them more lethargic and lazy. Also if you wait until you get 95% of them because they seem to always return to their nests for supper and the paper after a hard days work. Use any combination of the above remedies (except nuclear wastes) but the best time to get them is around three in the morning.
