I just traded one last year for a 648 new holland. The the dealer gave me $2,500 for the 855. The 855 is a good baler. We baled on average 5-6,000 bales annualy with it. We went through it several times, replacing bearings and chains. It would have probably lasted me 10 more years at that rate, but the dealer offered me a deal that i couldn't resist on the 648. I definitely don't miss the 855. The bales are monsters and are heavy. Ten years ago you couldn't have gave me a 4x5 baler, but now you couldn't give me a baler that makes anything bigger than a 4x5, as they are easier to handle and most importantly easier to sell.
