I am not absolutely sure but that sure looks like one of the old units they used to pull the rods a tubing out of oil wells with when they had derricks that set over the wells. There was one that set across the road from our house at Mounds OK. in the early 40s. There was about 6 wells on that place with the old wooden derricks over them & it was used all the time. There was a couple still in use around Wewoka OK as late as the early 1950. I sure would like to see a bigger picture of that.
