Oil problems - 1957 Ford 600

I'm rebuilding the engine in a Ford 600 134 C.I. four cylinder that hasn't been run in years. Before installing the engine, I ran the oil pump and it was pumping to all parts of the engine. The oil pump is working but now it is only pumping to the front of the engine by the timing gear and not to the pistons or camshaft. Is there a diagram that shows the path the oil flows? I'm assuming the channel is plugged somewhere. Any suggestions as to how to correct this problem? Is it necessary to pull the crankshaft? I've removed the olk filter and tried air pressure in the oil filter hole but it only comes out by the timing gear. Thanks for any suggestions you have.
