I would agree that a tractor in the 30 to 40 horsepower range will handle your chores. I had a Farmall 340,(36 hp and live pto). We worked her for several years and never had any mechanical problems that we didn't create for ourselves. The advice about a dealer in the area is one bit of information I would sure pay attention to.
