Don,t let someone else make your decision,Look the tractor over really close,And if you are satisfied,And you believe you are getting a good deal,I would buy it.
It doesn't matter what color it is,As long as it gets the job done!!
Good luck with the 986,Treat her good and she will be good to you.By the way,I am a service tech for a John Deere dealer,And all tractors have good & bad points that can't be prevented. Kenneth
