Anyone looking for an Avery in quite decent shape? I went and looked at a 1946 Model V today, painted decently for parade use 4 years ago. Has cultivator (4 or 6 sweeps) on it and mostly there. Rear lift missing off rear tool Bar. PTO fine, had rings & valves about 4o hrs ago. Runs 15 lbs. oil pressure on original side guage. Still 6 volt, 8 V. battery, cranked right up, radiator and overall appearance above average. Not beat up. Wide front end and pretty tight. Front tires 80% and rears new, still has nibs. Brakes fine, clutch has a little shudder (needs working?) 3 lights, motor side curtains missing. Nameplate has stamp data; ZXB3.....*15....1168376...006....-5/8 X 3. Can't read plate description titles. In Jacksonville Texas for $1000 Guys Name is David at Jacksonville Basket Factory 903-586-8014 ext. 11
