I have never tried this, but I know that on a gas tractor the exhaust hole in the hood is on the opposite side as it is on a diesel. I just saw one of each side by side this morning at a parts yard. I would think that as far as the engines go it would probably bolt right in with the right flywheel on it. Seems like IH would have had continental make the engine to match their existing bellhousing. I always thought it would be an interesting project to put a TA and a diesel engine from a 350 into an H to make a Super HTA Diesel. Keep us informed of your progress.
