CASEPOWER is right.,..busses are built very strong,,I have had trucks made out of busses and have had trailers made from bus frames,,I have a bus frame here right now,,its thickness is right about 18 inches, my 2 ton dump truck is 9 inches,,you do the math.. as for hauling kids,,the rating is by usually 2-3 kids per seat,not by weight,,and all the busses I have had or have worked on did not have wood floors. they had decent steel floors,,my two cents,,,Jim
