Roll Bar Cage

I need to build a two hoop roll bar cage for my MF 205 Ind, about 6000 Lbs. I was going to use 2.5"x.125 mild steel square tubing.Does this sound reasonable? Is there a industry standard for the materials used in the construction of these safty devices?
