THIS IS WHAT THE TRACTOR DID. IT WAS RUNNING FINE. THE SPEED WENT DOWN FOR ABOUT 30 SECONDS. PUFFED BLACK SMOKE EVERYWHERE AND DIED. IT WOULD NOT CRANK AGAIN. IT APPEARED LOCKED UP. THEN AFTER ABOUT 45 MINUTES IT STARTED AGAIN. PUFFED SMOKE LIKE CRAZY AND RAN FOR ABOUT 3 MINUTES. DIED AGAIN MAKING VERY BAD NOISES. I REMOVED THE OIL PAN EXPECTING TO FIND SEVERE DAMAGE. EVERYTHING LOOKS GOOD. THE STARTER WOULD TURN THE ENGINE ABOUT 2 DEGREES WITH EACH CLICK. NOW IT DOESN'T DO THAT EITHER. NORE CAN I MOVE IT BY HAND. I CAN'T SEE IN FRONT WERE THE GEARS ARE, OIL PUMP, INJECTOR PUMP, ETC. I THINK THE DAMAGE IS SOMEWHERE IN FRONT.
