Does it have a groove around the outer curcumference of the outer race, or a small hole in it? That groove or hole should line up with the zerk on the pillow block when you install it. That's how the grease gets inside when you re-grease it. Frankly, I don't think they work worth a hoot, but that was the idea behind it.
