The only good thing about a Belarus is the price. I almost got lured in a few years ago by the price. I told the dealer I needed references from some of his previous sales . He was reluctant to do so and offered several excuses. I persisted and told him that was the only way I would think of buying one . I got three names and they all wished they had bought something else. Since thios time I have talked to other belarus owners, and I've never heard a favorable response yet.I honestly don't know how they can still be selling tractors in this country. The last guy I talked to thought since he would be only using it for light work about 200 hours a year he could get buy with the cheaper Belarus. His tractor now out of warranty with 420 hours is going to the shop to be split in half for major hydraulic work. I read two other posts on this subject. One guy had two of them and reported good luck with them. This is the only time I have ever heard any owner having a favorable comment. He also stated that he had 2 belarus tractors. Maybe he just retired from farming I don't know but he doesn't own one now.
