Observing my father & uncles tractor buying in the 50's-60's, the 460 had a costly update kit for the rear end, or you replaced bearings yearly. This one was harder to keep running than the 560, which sucked gas, but the 350D must rank as a tie with the 460, for repairs. In retrospect, reading of tractor history, I-H was considering faze-out on tractors, in 1956, as Deere attempted a merger with MHF, who had the Red Seal Continental Diesels, that actually ran. The I-H pause in R & D, left it to catch up, as both Greens had large row crop(80-90 HP)models out by 1960. The 806D was a 1962 model. Talking of tractors, seems like Politics, plenty of opinions. Once you retire, sell the colors, you can give more objective opinions. Most tractor owners feel they own the best, no matter how many teardowns. The most dependable diesels,in tractors of the 50's were the Cat Diesel crawlers. Amen.
