Take line off to gauge or any place you can get to the oil galley. Take oil can pump oil in engine get wrench on crank turn (ENGINE BACKWARDS) keep pumping until you empty oil can.By turning engine backwards you might be able to prime pump. The 1934&35 "A" Deere with plunger pressure gauge had the oil pump out of the oil in the left side behind the flywheel .Some times when you changed oil or when the old pump got worn they would lose prime .This worked every time on them.
