My brother was mowing with our 1466 several years ago and got the front end in a ditch at a 90 degree angle. When he tried to back out, he snapped the pivot pin in the middle of the front axle. The keeper on the rear "ball" coupler was missing. Kinda ended up in the same position as yours with different symptoms. Good luck getting her back up and rolling instead of sliding. dcm

My first recollection of this tractor was when dad allowed my brother and myself to ride on the tractor with him driving. One of us would sit on the left fender (away from the clutch) and other would sit on the gas tank and hold onto the crankcase breather pipe.
