I remember years ago my Father used some kind of black tire paint on a trailer. It looked OK at first but after awhile it made the tire look like they had a cheap paint job.
While it would be good to make the tires not crack so you could keep them longer if the tires don't look natural. It wouldn't be much good for a show tractor.
