I recently got a Case 801B diesel, and the 22 gal.tank is so full of crud one can reach thru the fill hole up to the elbow and pull out pieces of stuff the size of a quarter. I installed an in-line gas filter just so I could get the engine running and get it up on a trailer. I have several other tractors with old dirty tanks, so I decided it's about time to come up with a mechanical tank cleaner. It's about half complete at this point; maybe another month or so I'll get to try it out. Someone told me commercial tank cleaning costs about $80. I think car restoration places do it.
