I have a Case 1070 that runs great and I am painting. The cab interior had some kind of vinyl covering glued onto the metal panel surfaces. A previous owner ripped the rotted vinyl out and just left the bare metal (painted) exposed. This was a good idea except that the vinyl was glued with a very hard mystery glue and the panels all have a lot of glue ridges and trails on them. I can't remove these panels for sanding and I don't want to get into a cab-off restoration for a work tractor. I want to just brush or roll paint them with a thick texture paint. I am considering a can of Dupli-color truck bed liner paint. The thick rough surface would be just right I think for washing the cab out occasionally and for hiding the infernal glue marks. Has anybody used this paint before and do any of you have other ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance!
