3-rib tires are designed for dirt, & will wear faster on concrete. Just the way it is. Used car or truck tires would give you longer wear, but not the look you are going for I'm sure. Running them low makes them wear more. You probably want max air pressure for the tire. They need to be adjusted just right for toe in (angled _just_ slightly towards each other in the front) & um, chamber (top/bottom tilt), or they scuff on the pavement, and that wears them out rapidly on hard surfaces or faster speeds. Hardly noticeable in a field. Bet this is your problem. Narrow fronts tend to wobble back & forth at higher speeds (loose steering/bearings & the toe-in wrong), so a wide front would probably make a difference, but getting everything lined up & true would probably do it for your narrow front. Mine are all out in the field, so never bothered actually trying to line them up, sorry I can't help you do it! :) --->Paul
