WHat he said!!! I got 5 tractors shipped from a guy in the UK a couple years back. Sold each and every one at cost. The time factor, the fact that you can't bring them back when you discover the PTO clutches won't handle a heavy load six months later, and the total lack of accountability once you've paid for them makes it pretty risky. If I ever decide to play big time tractor dealer again, I will simply travel to the US and Canada Auctions and buy there. At least I will get to look and touch the tractors befor I've paid. Sure, you can get digital pics, but we know how that works, don't we? I bet half the stuff that sells on EBAY gets sold because the digital pics make stuff look better than it really is. Some guys make a go of it doing the overseas thing, but it seems a lot of those guys are pretty slick.I ain't gonna do it again.
