I know what you are talking about. I drove from Kansas City to north east Ohio to buy an Allis last year. I even looked at a picture he posted on the internet. It was supposed to be low hr. tractor and in excelent shape. It was a piece of junk. I came to the conclusion that if a guy is going to be a low life deceitful crook you are not going to be able to detect it. The problem is, we are so used to doing busines with real tractor people, that as a rule are as honest as the day is long. As for the picture if a guy is going to be dishonest he can make the picture the way he wants it to look. That was only about 900 miles give or take. Made for a long trip home with an empty trailer.
