I have been tinkering with a John Deere 50 that had a very stuck piston. Clooney on the JD board suggested burning diesel fuel in the cylinder. After the first time, pounding on the piston moved it to the back\bottom of the cylinder. After the second time, it came out.

I don't know if it works with Fords, but it got the 50's stuck piston loose.
