Did not read any other than you question. The only new 6.0 motor I know about has valve train noise that the dealer stated he could not remove, because they have tried on others. He directed my friend to call chev. when he call the woman at chev said she knew why he was calling up just by hearing it was a 6.0 engine without the rest of the story. She called the dealer to confirm the noise problem and gave a 10 yr 100,000 mile warranty on the motor. just drive and smile and listen to the valve rack sing (or pound) for the 1st 100,000 miles on chev and them dump the ride. Tought to top the cumming's.
