I Have a V 10 dodge 1994 with 118,000 miles and have not had one problem with engine or transmission yet. Still has orignal sparkplugs. Get 13.5 to 15 mpg empty. I pull 6-7 ton everyday in my construction business. Worst mileage towing is 9mpg, best 11.7 depends on terrain and how much lead in in my shoe that day. Always running 65-75 mph empty or loaded. My dealer told me the weak part was the transmission and to ease into a load until rolling then give her the gas. Also to keep trans oil changed. I power flush the transmission every 30,000 and change engine oil every 3,ooo. I Love this truck!!! It is a one ton dually with extra cab. Every other truck in my fleet is a Ford and I am a Ford man, but this Dodge is my personal truck and I will buy another one If this one ever wears out.
