Not disagreeing, I had a 93 dodge 1/2 ton 4x4 318 mag, loved it got 16 most of the time,sold it to a friend, bought a long bed ,same thing,318 4x4,got 10 most of the time and wouldn't pull a greasy string from a cat's butt, I currently have a 2000,3/4 ton dodge 4x4, 5sp. cummins get 20 mpg empty,14 pulling 863 bobcat on tandem axle .gross wgt.of trk & trailer is 17,600, My son has a 2000 dodge 1 ton 2 wh. dr with same gear as mine , he gets 15 empty 12 pulling his bobcat 763 on tandem, his gross is 17,900
