Thanks for the replies, even the ones that had nothing to do with what I asked. I didn't ask about any GM product, and I did not ask for people's experience with V8's. I have a V8, it gets 14 mpg max and I have read that the V10's also get 14 on the highway so I want the power. I also stated that I cannot afford the extra $5000 for a diesel right now either. My bro has a Cummins, relatives have Powerstrokes. They pull great, would love to have one, cannot afford it. To me the V10 would be next best thing. Here's my disclaimer: I am merely stating my opinions, take them for what they are worth.
