Cheap tires may make the difference between sitting in a fence row rusting and actually being useful.I can't always shell out 400$ for one tire,I always try to find used tires for antique tractors but that is not always an option. And besides, a tractor that sits in someones driveway in town as a conversation piece or as a status symbol doesn't need good tires they just need to hold air and look good. If the tractor is a working tractor,I'd probably go with better tires. You would'nt put a $700 set of eagle GT+4 good year tires on a VW bus or a set of 14 ply steel radial truck tires on a datsun would you?I just mean some tractors do not need the best.
