Its like this, we've built ourselves a little community here. A place like in the old days where you could head down to the feed store and describe what the sick cow was doing and some old feller might help you out. Not many places like that anymore. So you figger a guy has tractor trouble, he comes here and posts his questions and gets answers, then he fixes the tractor. He's a happy camper. SO then he has other troubles, like the guy thats worried about spending $20k on a wedding. Maybe he doesn't have any in-person friends that are in his predicament, but he knows that if he comes here, we'll theres hundreds of people maybe thousands, somebody might have been through this. So he asks, and SON OF A GUN, somebody here has been through it and heres what they did. So is it such a crime that maybe you don't get to put your "Superior tractor knowledge" to use today? I guess my thought is that if you want to get some more tractor talking done, post something about tractors rather than some whiney "we don't talk about what I wanna talk about" post. This is a free space, you wanna talk about tractors, talk about 'em. Don't wanna talk about other stuff, don't read those posts. Ain't nobody dragging you into those converstations.

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
