Have no idea about the Toyota. USed a Dodge Dakota for 10 years as my farm truck (all but goosenecks, kept an old Ford dually for that). Had V-6 4x4. Pulled everything from fully loaded (5 tons) fertilizer buggys to my farm equipment. Only thing it didn't like was a NH automatic bale wagon. Put 185,000 on it, would go anywhere. Never touched the drivetrain. Bought it for 12,100 new got 3300 trade in (and it was worn out, clutch slipped, had cow manure on the dash (used it to warm babies in the winter time). Got a 2500 HD Ram with Cummins (because I got tired of working on the Ford, 318,000 on a 390 kept burning up the heads, needed some "Ethyl"). Love my big truck but miss my Dakota, never got stuck in it, front of the big truck wants to sink. Really encourage you to look at wither the Dakota or the Ram. Everybody talks about the $$$ extra for a diesel but I got my 01 new for 27,100 (trade in off that) and with the rebates now seen them for the low 26'es. Pay almost that for a baby truck.

Finding where and how it can be used correctly is key to whether you are using it as an "inelegant hack" or an integral solution to difficult and expens
