In a tank with a baffle, you're going to have a hard time any way. That new with rust, I'd think about keeping it inside, and changing gas suppliers. As for lifting an axle, I'd rather do some straightening than replacing a wall. Becides, if it rolls out into the pasture, it's not going to get hurt much. Actually, I was in the process of doing a tank thing, and needed to do some mowing too. The thought of shaking that huge gas tank wasn't too apealing to me, so I just strapped her on for the ride. Killed two birds with one stone. Part of the pasture got mowed, and my tank ended up looking as close to new as it was going to get.
