Hugh - I'm right full of those stories too. An old maid neighbour of ours , on her first drive had a small accident with her car back in either the 'teens or early 20's. That car stayed in her shed till the day she died. In the mean time, many people tried to buy it because it had so little damage and was very collectable.Eventually, the shed collapsed on it but she still wouldn't sell. By the time she passed away , what was left was worthless. People to-day have probably never heard of those early days when horse power was replaced by the tractor and automobile.
