The first MF135 tractors were 4cyl gasoline. When the 3 cyl diesel engine was later introduced, the 135 really gained popularity, but to save production costs they then stopped using the 4 cyl engine and just reworked the 3 cyl Perkins to run on gasoline(which it does nicely). the only quirk with this modification is, you must keep the rpms up to obtain adequate power when performing heavy work by proper selection of gearing. You can buy a MF135 diesel for ~$5.5k, and a gas for ~$4.5K. Strangely- more than original selling price. This link has HP and other specs.
