Depends on the kid some have common sense.If there big enough and have good common sense I see no problem with it.I seen younger then that on tractors that drove better then 20 year olds.They have to start sometime.Trick to it is spend some time with them on the machine hours not minutes.Let them see what can go wrong and what to do when it does.I have a kid 13 that works for me he can drive and knows his way around all the equiment.Don't just throw them the keys learn them how to fixem check and change oil everything about the machine they should know before they solo.Just because some of the kids are mess up today dosen't mean all of them are.
