I think it depends on what their parents think. I started driving tractor when I was 8 years old. That was on My 1940 H farmall. I was moving bales at the age of 12 with a 520 belarus or an 1800 oliver which ever one wasn't on the baler at the time. I was plowing with our 145 versatile and 6-16's at the age of 14 plowing barely stubble in the hills. And cultivating corn with a G-900 moline diesel and a 6 row cultivator at the age 16. My brother is 16 years old and just started driving tractor just a couple of years ago and you can't trust him for nothing.
