Age has nothing to do w/ it. I started driving the ole M at 5, by 10 I was running everything except the combine. Now I'm 17 and I run the place. Grandpa started me young cause he knew he wouldn't be here, he died a year ago May, but he left w/ a 2500acre farm to run, and I do run the place. But the policy is, you break it, you fix it. I was taught how to work on them as well as operate. It's not the age, it's maturity, and whether or not the kid was taught to operate it correctly.
