Its not necessarily true that the remote valve is universal. It is if its supply and return are hoses, but there has been a series of valves made for MF and Ford tractors that bolts down on top the rock shaft cover under the seat that taps the internal hydraulics and allows that to work normally or that hydraulic power to be diverted to one or two remotes with NO hoses or pipes between the tractor and the valve. Those valves are NOT universal. Also not every general purpose valve can be converted to closed center. The least expensive valves can't often be converted. They have to be planned for conversion. Your shift lock seems stuck, else you are shouting and that's not necessary in this forum. Gerald J.
