When the two row mounted cornpicker was on the two cylinders, 'A' '60', etc. There was a shaft extension that engaged the flywheel, if memory serves me it was almost four feet long, this was inserted, slid thru a hole in the side of the picker, then the steering wheel,(not kidding here) was removed and slid on the end of the shaft, and the steering wheel was hauled around to crank the engine. Only seen this set up used once, knew some guys that simply pull started their picker tractors, for the few weeks of picking time. John in Ne.
