Way back when I built my '55 Ford, I had a '59 police intercepter engine in it, 3 speed overdrive, and the original automatic rear gears....I won a economy run against new VW's, etc. with over 24 MPG, and I could absoutely FLY!!! Hello, my Cherokee only gets 19 MPG, and it is only a 6 cylinder.!!! Anyone heard of any new cars that get anything near 35 MPG.??? I havent...AND...what's these comments about SUV's.??? No different than a P/U truck....probably better.!!! I suppose my cherokee is a "SUV".??? Better to pull a trailer w/that, than use my P/U...!!! Ever put a ton of gravel in a Honda.????..!!! Yes, WJERE is the NEW technology.??? I thot fuel injection was supposed to be BETTER on fuel.!!!!
