go over on the todays tractors board and post this you should get some opinions from people who have actually operated the valmets.they have a rereputation it europe as being the mercedes of tractors and they have the highest costmer satisfaction rating of any tractor maker,but never having had the chance to abuse or work on one I cant give an informed opinion.JD makes some good equipment but there are some people who would buy a turd and love it if JD painted it green.
