British made, acquired by Case in the early 70s'?, then merged into the Case-IH line. Late 60's were black and white. Changed to red (looks orange to me when Case bought) and white. Labeled David Brown after the merger for British use, Case for export to US. I love them. 1210 is my favorite tractor of all times. Regretably, I'm slowly selling out of them due to parts costs and availability. They are really good machines but have some quirks: 1. seems like every seal leaks 2.everything is behind something else 3.electrical systems are maddening 4. easy on fuel 5. great engines 6. easiest starting diesles I've ever had. My favorite series is the 1210/1410. 885/990 had rear hydraulic pumps run off of PTO. Later 1190-1690 have a gear linkage I don't care as much for. xx94 series are nice, still like the 1210/11410 better.
