Depends on how much corn you have to pick. If you've got a half acre to harvest in a season, it's not. If you've got a half acre to harvest a day and you farm workers don't show (been there, done that) so you lose quality on a 1/2 acre (4800 or 400 dozen @ $3 a dozen) it doesn't have to happen many times before it's cheap.
