Hi bjuck , I've never been in the service. So I have no first hand experience. I've had relatives retire from the service at 21 years. As an out sider looking in , this is my opinion. Yes , I agree. It's an experience of a life time. I don't disagree with that. You travel all over the place , which may be good if your single. You have access to benefits , college , etc.. All that stuff , I guess is good. Here's the down side that I don't like. As soon as you sign your name , you belong to "Uncle Sam". Uncle Sam wants to twist your mind around , making you one of his war pawns. They play mind games with you all the time. At least while your in boot camp. Now that's good , seeing you are his pawn. It may help you stay alive durring war. Being a young age , the service gets you all pumped up for war. You think your untouchable. So , I'd give thought to what Kelly C said. There are graves full of 17-18 year old "Kids". You don't know the real story until you've lived life. Looking back over history , all these so called conflicks/wars are nothing but leaders playing politics over money and power. But they are to much a coward to go face to face with each other. So they send the brainwashed kids in to fight there battles. And a lot of them never come home. And if they do come home all mangled up/missing limbs , the goverment throws there arms up in the air and say "that was not a war , that was a conflict". And because it was a conflict , guess who gets the short end of the stick? Look at the deal we are in now. You don't think this is over the oil? Don't kid your self. It is nothing but the oil. Bush wants to dis-arm Sadam , so that Sadam can't fight back. This way Bush can push him all over the place , in his own country. Bush has all intentions of going to war. Because most of the world doesn't want to see war , Bush is desperately looking for a reason to justify it. And he has to do it before his first 4 year term is up. He may not get another chance. I better stop here , before I go in to deep. Yes , I am gratefull to be in this country. But no reason people should die over the greed of world leaders. Also , I don't remember the details , but you can not put 21 years in the service and just simply retire any more. It is now 31 years. I think it goes something like 21 years active , and another 10 inactive. Something on that order.

Product Review: Black Tire Paint - by Staff. I have been fortunate in that two of my tractors have had rear tires that were in great shape when I bought the tractor. My model "H" even had the old style fronts with plenty of tread. My "L" fronts were mismatched Sears Guardsman snow tires, which I promptly tossed. Well, although these tires were in good shape as far as tread was concerned, they looked real sad. All were flat, but new tubes fixed that. In addition to years and years of scuffing and fading, they had paint splattered on
