Any of you guys that joined up from 1980 on. Remember the Photos of the barracs that the recruiter showed you? You wont see a room like that any time any place any how. Not if you are 11B like me. We did get something like simi private rooms (4 guys) at FT Riley Kansas. That is untill Top got pissed at us all and took our doors. Then in the middle of JAN with the Hawk a blowing, Top got pissed again and made us all live in GP Med tents on the front lawn. Pulling Gaurd every 2 hrs all night long. This lasted till May. Top was always one to hold a grudge. We worked very very hard to keep our rooms in tip top shape after that. I wouldnt want to be the guy that brought the GP's back..... Blanket partys were the order of the day.
