An 18 foot bed that's 30 inches off the ground? Sounds like a candidate for a dovetail install. Just doing a "what looks right guess" I bet you will end up with ramps at least 5 feet long. Can you rough up a mockup with your current ramps enough to try it? Only problem with fold up ramps is occasionally one needs to carry something longer than what they will allow. If you can remove them and carry them somewhere else on the vehicle it can be helpful. One thing good about the foldups is you have the opportunity to create a stiff leg for loading that eliminates the need for blocking the trailer while loading. If you do that with yours your stifflegs will end up over two feet long. Make sure you get some reflective material on those so nobody runs into them!
